When will made to bloom deliveries arrive?
Made to Bloom deliveries are made 4 times each year
- Spring
- Summer
- Fall
- Winter
The actual date for delivery is dependent largely on plant availability and Mother Nature. In order to ensure the best life for every plant in your insert, we make sure that the weather is optimal for each seasonal change.
Mother Nature is the only one in charge of the weather, and some italic text. Donec sit amet lectus feugiat, cursus felis sed, suscipit leo. Nulla facilisi. Phasellus dolor ipsum, convallis in quam nec, lobortis facilisis dolor. Pellentesque purus diam, laoreet vitae erat tincidunt, rutrum imperdiet dolor. Donec dapibus augue ut dolor viverra, eget rhoncus nunc porta.
What is your subscription cancellation policy?
We, of course, would hate to see you go, but we understand that this may not be a good fit for you. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once your card has been charged, it is non-refundable, so it is important to cancel prior to your billing date.
Subscriptions are charged every 3 months from your original purchase date. You will receive a reminder email notifying you of an upcoming charge.
After a cancellation, you are welcome back at any time.
Why do I have to wait for my Made to bloom delivery?
We wish all the flowers were always in bloom and that there is an unending supply, but unfortunately it doesn’t work out that way. At Porch & Patio Co. we only put the best plant material that is available to us in our clients Made to Bloom inserts.
When you make the decision to order your Made to Bloom insert, we do our best to create something for the current season. For example, if your order is placed at the end of winter your first delivery will be in Spring. If your order is placed at the beginning of winter, we will add you to our winter schedule.
can i change my sun requirements?
Need to make a change on the location of your pots? We get it. It’s fun to rearrange. That may require you to let us know that your sun requirements are changing as well.
If you make a change, please just send us an email and we will make the change to your account on our end.
should my pots be empty prior to my first made to bloom delivery?
Nope! We actually prefer that they already have soil in them. We will make any soil adjustments needed at the time of each delivery.
Soil does work as the best fill option, however, many of our clients do fill the bottom portion of their larger containers with small rocks or pebbles and then the remainder of the containers with soil.
Potting soil helps the Made to Bloom insert begin to breakdown and give way to a healthier plant.
If you have no soil in your pot(s), you can add that to your initial order for a $20 charge. That will only be charged on your initial order or if you ever have an empty container at delivery.
what if i don’t like my Made to bloom pots?
For damaged (upon delivery), incorrect, or defective plant material, contact us within 48 hours of delivery date.
Please include:
- a description of the issue
- a picture of the damaged, incorrect, or defective plant
A member of the Porch & Patio team will be in contact with you and replacements will be made (if applicable) within 5 business days.
All sales are final. Deliveries are non-refundable.
Can i select the colors & plants for my made to bloom inserts?
Our designers are charged to create gorgeous Made to Bloom inserts for our clients. This means that they are looking for the best plant material available that will work in your sun requirements to give you the best “wow” factor.
With that in mind, we do want to hear from you. There is a note section when placing your order and you can note any colors and plants you love/hate. We will do our very best to keep your preferences in mind. There is no guarantee that we will be able to make those exact choices for you.
If you are looking for something more detailed and tailored to you, please contact us for a custom pot design at erica@porchandpatioco.com.
Do I need my own pots if i ordered made to bloom inserts?
Yes. Our inserts are pre-planted in hemp grow pots and will breakdown in time. We simply place our inserts into your existing pots.
If you do not have any outdoor pots, we do offer a selection of them in our shop. We would deliver any newly purchased pots with your next Made to Bloom delivery at no extra charge.
What is the last day that I can place a Made to bloom order for each season?
Orders can be placed at any time. We cannot create cutoff times for seasons, because we won’t know what Mother Nature, or our suppliers will have in store for us.
We will continually update our website so that you will know prior to placing your order is the current season is still available to you or if the order window for that season has been closed.
what happens to my old insert?
After we remove your previous seasons insert, it is placed in a compost pile. The plant material and hemp insert are all biodegradable and will eventually breakdown.
can i keep the plants in my pot?
We often use perennial plant material in our Made to Bloom inserts, especially in our shade inserts (all of your plant material will be listed at time of delivery, we will note what plants are annuals or perennials.)
If you would like to keep any of the plants that are in your insert, please just remove those plants prior to our visit to exchange your inserts. We will remove the insert as is at the time of exchange.
why do you only offer one size option for made to bloom inserts?
Currently our Made to Bloom Inserts are perfect for a 14-16″ diameter pot. For anything larger than that we strongly recommend a wreath or garland around the opening of the pot to help add another layer to the container. We LOVE this look anyway! It adds to an already beautiful display.
Please see our shop for current wreath and garland options. Please not that not all of our wreaths will work with our inserts. Wreaths that will work are listed as a Made to Bloom accessory.
